1 The act of 1930 adds two new clauses, one providing for plain silk fabrics under 30 inches in width at 60 per cent ad valorem and the other for Jacquard-figure d fabrics at 65 per cent ad valorem. 
1 The rate here shown for paragraph 1205 takes into account only the increase in duty on Jaequard-figured fabrics, imports of which are estimated at 10 per cent of the value of all broad-silks 
+ Of the two rates effective on silk velvets, the rate of 65 per cent ad valorem is here used as the bulk of the imports of velvets are of the type with a wholly-cut pile dutiable at this rate. 
i In the computation of this rate, it was estimated that the imports of Jacquard-fizured ribbons, dutiable at 65 per cent ad valorem, represent 10 per cent of the total value of ribbon imports.
