Physik Dr. Hans Rukop aus Berlin. Das neugegründete 
Ordinariat für mittelalterliche und neuere Geschichte über- 
nahm Professor Dr. Gerhard Kallen aus Münster, das 
neugegründete Ordinariat für neuere Geschichte Professor 
Dr. Johannes Ziekursch aus Breslau. Die drei erstgenann- 
ten Herren traten ihr Lehramt mit dem vergangenen Sommer- 
Semester an, Professor Ziekursch mit dem jetzt begonnenen 
Winter-Semester. Es seien diese neuen Kollegen auf das 
herzlichste willkommen geheißen. 
Die durch den Tod Professor Dr. Preysings ausge- 
fallene Vorlesungstätigkeit wurde durch ministeriellen Lehr- 
auftrag für das Winter-Semester 1926/27 und das Sommer- 
Semester 1927 an Professor Dr. med. Linck, Königsberg, 
übertragen. Die Leitung der Klinik für Ohren-, Nasen- und 
Halskrankheiten übernahm ministeriellem Auftrage gemäß 
bis zur endgültigen Besetzung der Stelle Professor Prey- 
sings Geheimer Medizinalrat Professor Dr. Tillmann. 
Sehr erfreulich ist es für mich, berichten zu können, 
daß der Vertreter der neueren deutschen Literaturgeschichte, 
Professor Ernst Bertram der Lockung, einen .an ihn er- 
gangenen Ruf an die Universität München, als Nachfolger 
Professor Munckers, anzunehmen, widerstanden hat. Ebenso 
freuen wir uns, daß Professor Joseph Schüller einen Ruf 
an die Universität Tübingen, als Nachfolger Professor Ja- 
cobys den Lehrstuhl für Pharmakologie zu vertreten, ab- 
gelehnt hat. 
Professor A. E. Brinckmann erhielt einen Ruf an 
die Universität Minnesota (Minneapolis) für die Dauer eines 
Jahres zur Errichtung eines kunsthistorischen Lehrstuhls 
und zur Einrichtung eines Instituts für Kunstgeschichte. 
Professor Nicolai Hartmann, der im vergangenen Jahr 
bei dem internationalen philosophischen Kongreß in Cam- 
bridge-Massachusetts Vorträge gehalten hat, erhielt eine 
Einladung als Gastprofessor an die  Standford-Universität 
in Palo-Alto (Kalifornien) für das Sommerhalbjahr 1920.
