The machine industry makes special machinery for the wood, milling, leather 
and tile industry, as well as drills, presses, injector pumps, industrial ventilators, 
turbines, various agricultural machines, etc. 
There are five works for the building of railway, tram, and other coaches, 
as well as others which make ships, barges, boats and aeroplanes. 
Other Industries 
in order to make our survey of industry complete we must mention the 
stone and marble industries, the manufacture of lime, the 5 cork factories, as well 
as the manufactures of writing materials, buttons, combs, and other celluloid articles. 
There are also gas works in a number of towns.
