The State Budget 
The proposed budget for the financial year 1927-1928 amounted to 11.690 
mill. dinars, but was diminished by certain reductions to a final 11.477,570.000 
dinars. This figure in itself is proof of the efforts of the government to introduce 
economy wherever possible into state management, and thus reduce the burden 
of the nation. 
State expenditure in the years since the war is shown in the following list:
