DIGEST OF THE REPORT
In the following paragraphs are given a digest and brief interpreta-
ton of the statistical information presented in detail in Parts II and
[11 of the report. Table I-I contains the percentages of the increases
and decreases in the rates of production, accident frequency, accident
severity, and accident fatality for the several industries and product
groups into which the data were classified. This table is a composite
tabulation of the accident and production performance of twenty in-
dustries and sixty product groups based upon the exposure of over fifty
billion man-hours. The respective performance of the several indus-
trial groups is as follows:
