STOPPING LIMITS—INDIVIDUALLY DRIVEN MILLS 
Rule 131. 
(a) Every mill having a diameter of the front roll up to and 
including sixteen and one-half (161%) inches and running empty 
at any speed shall be stopped within a distance of not more than 
ten (10) inches’ travel after the safety is tripped.

(3) Every mill having a diameter of the front roll over sixteen 
and one-half (1614) inches and up to and including twenty-two and 
one-half (221%) inches and running empty at any speed shall be 
stopped within a distance of not more than fifteen (15) inches 
travel after the safety is tripped.
