The publications of the Review: “Bergwirtschaftliche Zeitfragen”
(Contemporary problems of Mining Economy), stoppend in 1913,
will be resumed; it will, in accordance with a connecting scheme,
contain a number of treatises on specialised questions, themes
given to students for their examination papers, lectures, account
of voyages undertaken for the sake of resarch, experts’ reports etc.
These informations will, in some cases, be translated into foreign
languages or be accompanied by extracts written in such languages.
The disconnected scientific work carried on heretofore by the
various unions and associations for Mining Economics will now be

of agreements to the establisher between the various interests in
accordance with a connecting principle, i, e. research will be both
simplified and unified, expenses being, at the same time, con-
siderably reduced.
Our program also aims at future improvements of the press
devoted to mining interests, at the collection of complete biblio-
graphical materials, the procuring of the requisite literature, the
avoidance of superfluous publications and the encouragement of
co-operative publications on mining interests in the various
zountries.

terminology, nomenclature, cartography etc. questions of a similar
nature have to be solved both within the various countries and

the need of simplification and standardisation and they are going
to be made the object of a special study by our association.

of Constituting the Association. It will also be called upon to
examine the question of establishing inventories of the world’s
