number of independent sellers by grouping them into a comparatively
 small number of selling organisations. On the manufacturing
 side the tyre industry is already concentrated in powerful
hands. In regard to the rest of the industry, much scope exists
for closer working arrangements with a view to the concentration
of factories into larger units, the conduct of research, the distribution
 of information and the establishment of recognised grades
and standard specifications.
