a copy of the gauger’s report, Form 59, revised, and he will
retain a complete set of papers on file in his office.
Except in case of transfer of spirits to a bonded manu
facturing warehouse, he will also, in forwarding the
Papers to the collector of customs, append thereto the
following notice:

Sir: The annexed application and entry for export and bill of lading
are forwarded to you in order that you may anticipate the arrival of
the articles named therein and, upon their arrival, cause the same to be
duly entered, inspected, and laden for export, as required by law and
regulations.
Upon clearance of the articles you will please return the application
a ud entry to this office, together with your certificate of inspection
a nd clearance in the prescribed form.

Note.—In case of withdrawal of spirits under a transportation bond
the collector will add to the above notice the following:
‘ ‘The withdrawal of the within-described spirits having been made
under a transportation bond, the required export bond (Form E, Cat.
No. 4525) should be executed at your port.”

CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN.
Art. 46. In view of the fact that entry of distilled
spirits at ports in certain foreign countries is permitted
°nly upon the filing by the importer of an official cer
tificate showing the origin and the age of such spirits,
collectors of internal revenue with whom export with
drawal entries are filed are hereby authorized to furnish
the exporter with a certificate, under seal, showing the
origin and age of the spirits described in such entry for
withdrawal, so far as may be determined from the marks
an d brands on the packages containing the spirits.
Such certificate will be in the following form:
