in produce business in Manchuria. . 
River Beans or cart Beans are generally stored in osier 
bins in the wholesalers’ or bean mill yards. Each bin may 
hold 800-800 ‘‘koku’’ Beans. Business in osier bin Beans 
is conducted direct in most cases between wholsalers and 
bean mills and on this account, the business is commonly 
larger-scaled than business in river-or cart-Beans. Another 
peculiarity is that ogier bin Beans are disposed of more 
frequently by Forward contract than in Spots. 
Train Beans are such as are stored within the station 
yards or in the wholesalers’ yards, and they are dealt in 
between wholesalers, between wholsalers and bean mills, 
or between wholesalers and merchants. Business is usually 
concluded by means of samples

Both price and quantity are agreed upon in advance 
between sellers and buyers to effect delivery of the stocks 
at the date named. Ordinary goods are made the standard
