THE NEED OF NEW LEADERS

countries, as they have been in Russia, civilization
 would totter and fall.

These men are the leaders of Thought,
Technique and Action. They are indispensable.
 The prosperity of any country depends
upon the number of these men that it possesses.

All of these men are worth more than they
receive. They are priceless. They are the stout
pillars that hold up the whole structure of trade
and finance. They are more than wise. They
are STRONG. They are the only indispensable
men.

In every country—in every town, there are
only a few men who have a Purpose and a
strong will behind it. The paths that lead
upward to Leadership are open to all, in these
days of democracy, but very few have the
courage to climb these paths.

“In our town,” writes an English citizen,
‘‘ there are only five or six men who can truly
be called progressive. The others go on in the
same old way and wonder what is the matter
with the world.” His town is not as unusual
as he thinks it is. There are seldom more than
two or three per cent. of progressive people in
any town.
