AMBITION PLUS WILL-POWER
never imagined. The latent powers of his
brain are stronger than he knows. Little did
Leverhulme think, when he began his career,
that he would eventually come into control of
two hundred companies, and dominate his
trade throughout the world.
All over Great Britain there are large prob-
lems waiting to be solved. There are the still
larger problems, too, of making the most of the
British Empire. Even above these, there are
the international problems that the League of
Nations is too weak and immature to solve.
All these problems are waiting for men of
ambition and will-power and efficiency. Are
there no young men who are to-day resolutely
preparing themselves to solve them? Are
there no more Clives in Shropshire ? Are there
no more John Brights in Rochdale ? Are there
no more Cromwells in Huntington ? I believe
there are.
