EXAMPLES OF PRICE AND EXPORT AGREEMENTS OF
FOREIGN COMBINATIONS.
This exhibit contains a few examples of price and export agreements
 of foreign combinations. These agreements, secured from
authoritative sources, indicate conditions for the particular industries
 involved. -

SWISS CHOCOLATE.

The following copy of the conventional agreement of Swiss chocolate
 manufacturers in force from January 1, 1914, to December 31,
1916, sets forth the scale of fixed minimum prices which are used
as a selling basis for all chocolates sold in Switzerland by the manufacturers
 included in this convention, together with the conditions,
penalties, etc.

CONVENTIONAL AGREEMENT OF SWISS CHOCOLATE MANUFACTURERS.
ARTICLE 1.

The undersigned firms, according to the conditions of article 16 of the present
conventional agreement, hereby agree in conjunction with one another and during
 the period covered by the said agreement, not to sell or invoice their cocoa
products to anyone below the fixed minimum prices nor to contract any business
engagement whatsoever that would be fulfilled in their factories except at the
prices and conditions agreed to by the conventional agreement, nor to grant
more advantageous selling conditions than those given below, even if the merchandise
 was fixed for delivery at a date subsequent to that of the validity of
the conventional agreement.
The tariff which has been arranged and established on the principle of fixed
minimum prices under various headings comprising the different products is as
follows *

It is agreed that, for all kinds of sweetened chocolate, the price of
which is below 2.80 francs, the amount of butter contained shall not
exceed 28 per cent.
