ARTICLE 3.

A discount ‘of 8 per cent is allowed to buyers on payment within 30 days
after date of invoice; the longest term of credit allowed is that of three
months after date of invoice. A toleration period of five days is, however,
permissible in both cases. No intermediary discount can be allowed for payment
between 30 days and three months after date of invoice.
ARTICLE 4.

No rebate or benefit of any sort can be granted to buyers except that rebate
which is proportional to the amount of yearly purchases made, either by
Individual buyers or by an association of buyers; this rule applies to global
purchases in all conventional firms, as well as to individual purchases made
by one of those firms, according to the classification under which the buyer falls.
This rebate will be made on the first invoices of the following financial year.
The right to this rebate strictly and expressly entails the necessity for each
buyer, and, in the case of associations of buyers for all members of the association,
of buying during the financial year the products which are manufactured
by the firms of the convention from these firms alone. Any purchase,
however small, made in these goods outside these firms will result in the
complete forfeiture of all right to this rebate, even for associations of buyers
who are held responsible for their members in this respect. -
The scale used in calculating this rebate is as follows:
For individual purchasers buying dur- | For associations of buyers under the
ing the financial year for a sum of— same conditions:
