476 REPORT ON COOPERATION IN AMERICAN EXPORT TRADE.

Upon deliveries of wares to wholesale dealers, who will be denominated as
such to the members by the office, there will be granted besides this turnover
premium an additional turnover premium, but only upon those wares which,
according to an assurance which must be given to the office of the association,
were sold to retailers (literally resellers).
At the close of the year the office will figure out the average discount which
Is to be granted the individual wholesale dealers uniformly upon all deliveries,
and inform the members of the association, .
The premiums of the whclesale dealers are to be computed as follows:
(a) Existing turnover premium of 2 per cent upon purchases over 25,000
marks and 3 per cent upon purchases over 40,000 marks.
{b) Upon wares that were resold to retailers and that upon purchases of—
Over 25,000 marks, 4 per cent (including above 2 per cent, therefore 6 per
cent). ’
Over 40,000 marks, 4 per cent (including above 8 per cent, therefore 7 per
cent).
Over 60,000 marks, 5 per cent (including above 8 per cent, therefore 8 per
cent).
Over 80,000 marks, 6 per cent (including above 3 per cent, therefore 9 per
cent).
Over 100,000 marks, 7 per cent (including above 8 per cent, therefore 10
per cent). .
No turnover premiums are granted on rebut wares,
Turnover preminms are only granted upon such wares as are seut and charged
to the customer at his own address and at his own domicile. The above finds
no ‘application upon deliveries, at the instance of customers, to private persons,
clubhouses, and hotels for their own use. To better control the turnover
premium it is forbidden to keep the purchases of different customers in one
necount.
A yearly turnover of less than 200 marks which a dealer has with individual
merabers may be taken into account in figuring the rate of premium for the year,
but the premium must not be paid on this amount.
