notary public, and witnesses who sign below, appeared Juan Peterson, representing
 the incorporated company called “Compania de Salitres de Antofagasta,”
 by virtue of a resolution of the board of directors of said company,
which will be inserted later, and Mauro Lacalle, for Mrs. Carmen Ruiz, widow
of Saez, by virtue of power of attorney, which will also be inserted, both being
business men, of legal age, and living in this jurisdiction, who are known to
me, and state: That they agree in the name of their respective principals to

COMBINATION OF CACAO PRODUCERS OF ECUADOR.

A copy of the constitution of the Asociacion de Agricultores del
Ecuador (Association of Planters of Ecuador), as amended on Jannary
 18, 1913, and approved by the President of Ecuador on January
25, 1913, was furnished by Consul General Goding, of Guayaquil,
in connection with his special report on combinations in Ecuador.
