Method of Collection : Frontier check and hotel records
Definition : "Visitor" : Tourists and cruise passengers {excluding
excursionists by land).
"Tourist" : A foreign national entering the country on a
tourist visa, other than an immigrant, temporary resident
or air passenger in transit ; diplomats included. As from
1970, visitors from Arab countries to Jerusalem (especially
within the framework of the Summer visitors arrangement)
are also included.
