§35. 
On the grounds set out in § 123 of the Industrial Code, or in the case of repeated 
drunkenness, a worker can be dismissed without notice before the termination of the 
period prescribed by contract. 
§36. 
On the grounds set out in § 124 of the Industrial Code, a worker can leave with 
out notice before the termination of the period prescribed by contract. 
§37. 
On the termination of employment, all articles supplied to a worker in connection 
with such employment (working regulations and directions, protective clothes, tools, 
materials, &amp;c.) shall be returned in orderly condition. In return, the worker shall be 
given all documents handed in by him on entering, for which he must give a receipt. 
On departure the workers can require a certificate as to the nature and duration of 
their occupation, and on their demand the certificate shall also give an account of their 
conduct and capacity. 
§33. 
Onlv the officials competent to take workpeople into employment (§3) are authorised 
to dismiss workpeople. 
6.— Workmen's Committees. 
§39. 
In order to give the workpeople an opportunity of making known their wishes and 
possible complaints in connection with matters affecting all the workers in a municipal 
undertaking or branch of the same, Workmen’s Committees shall be established according 
to need, the members of which must be workpeople over 25 years of age who have been 
employed by the municipality for an uninterrupted period of at least two years. 
The members shall be elected by secret ballot from among the workpeople of full age 
engaged in the undertaking. 
For the rest the detailed provisions, and in particular those relating to the term of 
office, powers, and procedure of the Workmen’s Committees, shall be issued by the Town 
Council.
