L’ARBITRAGE INTERNATIONAL CHEZ LES HELLÈNES 
Il y a en effet relativement peu de cas qui soient cités dans 
la littérature grecque parvenue jusqu’à notre époque. Ce ne sont que 
les inscriptions mises au jour, particulièrement dans ces dernières 
années, qui montrent la situation exacte. Par ces inscriptions nous 
apprenons à connaître une série de décisions arbitrales plus ou moins 
détaillées, et ce n’est que par elles que l’on a pu se faire une idée 
de la procédure et du côté formel de l’appareil utilisé. Les inscrip 
tions sont donc actuellement les sources les plus importantes pour 
l’histoire de l’arbitrage grec. 
Comme traités scientifiques modernes sur ce sujet, on trouve les
