The Chief Justice. 
The officer in command of His Majesty’s Naval 
Forces on the Station, if of the rank of Captain 
or Commander, and the senior officer in command 
of the troops, if of the rank of Colonel or 
Lieutenant-Colonel, their own relative rank and 
precedence being determined by the King’s Regu- 
lations on that subject. 
The Members of the Privy or Executive 
Council. 
The Puisne Judges. 
The President of the Legislative Council. 
The Members of the Legislative Council. 
The Speaker of the House of Assembly. 
The Members of the House of Assembly. 
The Colonial Secretary (not being in the 
Executive Council). 
The Chief Commissioners, Government Agents, 
or Residents of Provinces. 
The Attorney-General (not being in the 
Executive Council). 
The Solicitor-General. 
The senior naval officer, if below the rank of 
Commander, and the senior officer in cornmand of 
the troops, if below the rank of Colonel or 
Lieutenant-Colonel, their own relative rank and 
precedence being determined by the King’s Regu- 
lations on that subject. 
In this table the term ‘‘ Flag Officer *’ means a 
naval officer holding rank equivalent or superior to 
that of Rear-Admiral, and the term *‘ General Officer ”’ 
means a military officer holding rank equivalent or 
superior to that of Major-General. 
132. When two or more Colonies are comprised 
within one naval or military command, the naval and 
military officers holding the commands in any one of 
such Colonies in the absence of the superior command- 
lng officers will take the precedence assigned to them
