National Bank of Portland, Ore. The Central National Bank of Portland was acquired in 1929. On March 22, 1930, for a consideration of 60,812 shares of Class A stock, the corporation acquired from the West Coast Bancorporation controlling interest in banks in Oregon and Southern Washington as follows: Citizens Nat. Bank, Peninsula Nat. Bank and Union State Bank, all of Portland; U. 8S. Nat. Bank, Salem, Ore.; U. S. Nat. Bank, McMinnville, Ore.; First Nat. Bank, St. Helens, Ore.; Bank of Mt.
