A TRIBUTE
oF THE PROFESSION
No greater tribute can be paid to a lawyer, physician,
architect, engineer, or to a man of any calling, than to be
recognized by his profession for integrity and ability and
for what he has contributed to the common weal of man.
No greater compliment can be paid any company than
the recognition by its competitors as leader in its particular
field of industry. Such a tribute has recently been tendered
to the Puget Sound Power & Light Company which won
the Charles A. Coffin Award in competition with hundreds
of other public utilities situated in all parts of the country.
This award is a recognition of the highest degree of
service, of efficiency and of progress by any utility in the
United States for the year 1927—an acknowledgment by
the various companies that make up the light and power
business that the Puget Sound Power & Light Company
is the standard bearer for the industry.
Pride of ownership in this great company is shared by
more than 16,000 citizens of Washington. Its Preferred
Stock offers you also an opportunity to affiliate with the
nation’s most progressive utility.
