perior Copper Co. Name changed in 1916. In 1924 acquired Butte-New York 
Copper Co. In 1928 acquired North Butte Extension Development Co. 
BUSINESS: Mining zinc and copper ore. Company's mill was dismantled in 
1924 and since that date ore has been sold or shipped to custom smelters 
PROPERTY: 321 acres in north central Butte mining area. 
DEVELOPMENT: 22,879 ft. of drifts and cross-cuts; 4,554 ft. of rises; total, 27.- 
433 feet.
