Es ist wie mit einem Stein, den man in’s Wasser wirft, in der unmittelbaren Nähe des Punktes, wo er hineinfällt, sind die Wellenbewegungen am stärksten; je grösser die Entfernung von diesem Punkte ist, desto schwächer werden die Wellenkreise, bis sie schliesslich so gut wie ganz verschwinden.
