Tnst and the spatial perception test was also good, show-
ln g that both tests involve the same ability or abilities to
some extent.
On the whole, the results of this experiment were not
su ch as to justify using any of the tests tried as a basis for
choosing new assemblers. Nevertheless, the correlations
°und justify continued research in this field. An inter-
e sting sidelight was cast upon the experiment by the fore-
nian when the results were shown to him. Upon being
tQ ld that the results of the second part of the experiment
' Vere not conclusive, he remarked that this was to be ex
pected under the circumstances. When asked to explain
imself, he stated that the examiner had not had the
fntire cooperation of some of the men and that these sub
jects performed the tests in a very careless manner. As a
ma tter of fact, the second section of the experiment was
