PORT ECONOMICS 
Where the port or dock undertaking is in the hands of 
a company, the capital of which is issued in shares, interest 
then takes the form of dividends of varying amount 
according to the prosperity of the enterprise. Debentures 
may also be issued at fixed rates of interest, these taking 
precedence over shares in payment of indebtedness.
