The rolling stock of the state lines on January 1st 1926 was as follows:
2.002 normal gauge engines;
711 narrow gauge engines ;
2.878 normal gauge passenger coaches ;
533 narrow gauge passenger coaches;
1.322 official and post coaches;
44.810 normal gauge goods trucks;
8.548 narrow gauge goods trucks.
Sitevo Gorge (Sifevadka klisura)
Therefore there are 53.358 goods trucks. As in all railways after the war
this country in all has a larger percentage of engines and coaches out of use
than is normal. This is due to the large number of worn out trucks and the insuf-
ficiency of workshops, which are consequently able to carry out only current repairs.
Preparations are being made for the extension of the old repair shops and the
construction of new ones with the assistance of private capital, and threfore the
rolling stock is likely in time to return to the normal level.
