Median weekly earnings by individual plant
In the full-fashioned hosiery plants the median earnings for men exceeded
 $30 in all but three plants. In five plants the median earnings
for men exceeded $50. There was no full-fashioned hosiery plant where
the median earnings of women were as much as $30. One plant had a
median for women of less than $12. In the seamless hosiery plants
men’s median earnings ranged from $18 to $31, and women’s median
earnings from less than $10 to $18. In the plants where both fullfashioned
 and seamless hosiery operations were carried on the median
earnings tended to more nearly approximate the medians in plants
where only full-fashioned hosiery was manufactured (Table 16). There
