In 1928 the receipts in Missouri from this source were ex- 
ceeded only by Indiana and Ohio, and in 1927, only by 
Indiana. The relatively large receipts in Missouri as com- 
pared with other states are not attributable to a high rate 
of tax. The data as given include only the receipts of the
