the other workmen. He seemed to be destined

There was a young man working as an
assistant to a photographer. He sat in a dingy
room and touched up photographs. He became
Sir John Lavery.

There was a young man who mended
bicycles in a little repair shop. Not much of a
job. His thoughts were on something else.
He became Sir William Morris.
