HISTORY: Organized under the laws of Washington July 10, 1928, as the United
Corporation. Name changed to present in May, 19289.
BUSINESS: A holding company, primarily conceived to acquire controlling interest
 in the “United Group” of corporations developed in Seattle by the investment
 banking firm of Drumheller, Ehrlichman & White.
Company’s charter grants broad powers, permitting acquisition of minority
or majority interests in security or financial institutions, participation in underwritings,
 syndicates, etc.
On June 30, 1930, United Founders Corp., New York, owned 10,754 shares of
Common stock, approximately one-third of the control shares, and 100,000 Parlicipating
 Preference shares.
