The Economic Journal is the organ of the Royal Econo
mic Society. The organ of the American Economic
Association is the American Economic Review. There
are numerous other journals of Political Economy
published in the United States. Their contents are
indicated in each number of the American Economic
Review, and in each number of the (British) Economic
Journal. The latter notices also economic articles in
any English reviews. Palgrave’s Dictionary of Political
Economy will be found useful by everybody.
The development of economic ideas is traced in Bonar’s
Philosophy and Political Economy, Cannan’s History of
Theories of Production and Distribution in England, Cossa’s
Guide to the Study of Political Economy, Ingram’s History
of Political Economy, and Price’s Political Economy in
England.
