This booklet, prepared and published by the First Nation- 
al Bank at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is one of a series issued, 
from time to time, since August, 1919, portraying the various 
industries of the Pittsburgh district, with the intention of em- 
phasizing the importance of Pittsburgh as a commercial and 
financial metropolis. A large number of its many industries 
and altruistic enterprises, have been described in the book- 
lets, of which sixteen have been published, to date. The
