This is more particularly true when comparisons are made between the ratios in 1924 and in 1925. For the entire experience, the ratios increased from 6.04 to 6.17 between 1924 and 1925. Moreover, as between the two years the averages for each of the various groups, except one, increased. But, as shown in Table 156, the groups contain a wide range of amounts—amounts which are high and low, com- pared with the averages for the respective groups, themselves, and for the entire membership. Accordingly, the changes from year to year, which may be read from Table 155, do not disclose, for individual banks, the relations between positions held (relative to any average) and the changes from year to year. Did all of the individual ratios increase between 1924 and 1925, or were the types of change in some way related to the levels
