Im Inlande gibt es nur eine kleinere Hausindustrie, in welcher besonders Spitzen her gestellt werden. Inlandsverbrauch an Textilwaren. Die Einfuhr im Jahre 1913 an Textilwaren betrug 6,8 Mill. Mark. Paraguay hatte eine Bevölkerung von ungefähr 800 000. Der Verbrauch an Textilwaren pro Person und Jahr betrug demnach: 8,50 Mark. Cuba. Die Einfuhr an Textilwaren im Jahre 1914 betrug 55,5 Mill. Mark; davon Rohstoffe für 0,6, Halbfabrikate für 1,5, Fertigwaren für 53,4 Mill. Mark. Die Herkunftsländer der Fertigwaren: England . . . 20,37 Mill. Mk.
