When the data for Jackson County are added to those for St. Louis County and St. Louis City, it is found that these three jurisdictions accounted for approximately 869, of the total personal income taxes levied and 80.9% of the total number of incomes assessed in the state. The group I counties, which include Buchanan and Greene Counties, in addition to the three that have been considered, accounted for 89.99, of the total personal income taxes levied and 85.897, of the total number of incomes assessed in the state,
