19) De conjecturis II, 11 und II, 16; vgl. bes. fol. 62b: „Com- 
plica ascensum cum descensu intellectualiter, ut apprehendas. 
Non enim est intentio intellectus, ut fiat sensus, sed ut fiat intel- 
lectus perfectus et in actu: sed quoniam in actu aliter constitui 
nequit, fit sensus, ut sic hoc medio de potentia in actum pergere 
queat. Ita quidem supra seipsum intellectus redit circulari com- 
pleta reditione ... Nam intellectum in species sensibiles 
descendere est ascendere eas de conditionibus contra- 
hentibus ad absolutiores simplicitates, quanto igitur 
profundius in ipsis se immittit, tanto ipsae species 
magis absorbent in ejus luce, ut finaliter ipsa alteritas in- 
telligibilis resoluta in unitatem intellectus in fine quiescat. Non 
‚gitur attingitur unitas, nisi mediante alteritate.“ — Zu vergleichen 
ist hiermit die metaphysische Wendung desselben Gedankens:

tellectum, ut de quidditate utriusque sic confuse sentitum, quod
