Both are called realizing and in proportion as money is rea lized, circulation diminishes/* 70) Ich sehe hier, wie im Folgenden, von dem Falle ab, dass es an Metallgeld zu Zahlungen im Inlando (z. 11. an Kleingeld, bei nicht tief genug herabgehender Appointirung der Banknoten) fehlt, in welchem Falle das gegen Noten eingelöste Metallgeld nicht exportirt wird, sondern zu Zahlungen im Inlande Ver wendung findet. 71) Dies übersieht A. Smith, der von der Vorstellung be herrscht ist, dass jede Note, welche die Bank über den Bedarf hinaus emittire, immer und unter allen Verhältnissen gegen Me tallgeld umgewechselt zu werden begehre, so dass auf diese Weise eine Bank durch übermässige Emission von Noten ihres ganzen Baarvorraths beraubt werden könne.
