36ü L’INDUSTRIE COTONNIÈRE EN ALLEMAGNE Affaires relatives au travail 756 — d’impôts 267 — d’héritage 403 — de salaire... 146 — d’insultes 351 — de mariages 194 Ce même Secrétariat a donné 18.325 consultations en 1904, dont 1.771 affaires de location et loyer, 1.459 af faires de saisie, 1.512 relatives au travail et aux salaires, 508 concernant le mariage, etc., etc. Le Secrétariat de Brême s’est occupé en 1904 de 12 600 cas ; celui de Munich, de 7.760 cas. Celui de Stutt gart, en 1903, a reçu plus de trente visiteurs parjour, en moyenne; au total, 9.227 personnes, dont 1.283 femmes. Ces quelques chiffres suffisent à caractériser les Secré tariats et à donner une idée de leur importance au point de vue ouvrier. Il en existait 54 en Allemagne en 1904.
