deposits  made  in  any  postal  savings  depository
established  under  this  act  by  any  person  of  the  Age  of  deposi .

  as  may  be  necessary  for  purposes  of  identification, ­
  in  which  pass  book  entries  of  all
deposits  and  withdrawals  shall  be  made  in  both

master  General  may,  with  the  approval  of  the
board  of  trustees,  adopt  some  other  device  or
devices  in  lieu  of  a  pass  book  as  a  means  of
making  and  preserving  evidence  of  deposits  and
withdrawals.
