than the S.M.R. Lines is quite insignificant in amount.
Of the total production of 33,000,000 ‘‘koku’, or about
4,820,000 tons of Beans in all Manchuria, about 16,000,000
“koku’’ or 2,850,000 tons are placed on the South Man-
chur'an markets mainly by the S.M.R. Lines.
We need not add that the arrival amounts annually
increase as the production increases.
