The normal constitution of the Entomological and Mycological
Section was as follows: —

The CHAIRMAN (Mr. Claude Fuller), in opening the proceedings,
stated that he proposed that the items should be dealt with
as much as possible by informal discussion. He explained that the
Agenda had been divided into three sections, dealing with Agriculture,
Cotton, Entomology and Mycology, but as it was obvious that the
Entomological and Mycological Section should be in a position to put
forward views in regard to all items on the Agenda, which might in
any way concern them, it would be advisable to go through the whole
Agenda as it stood and to group those items on which the
entomologists and mycologists should give an opinion to the General
Conference.
After discussion it was agreed that the subjects should be taken
in the following order: —
