When you remember that Great Britain 
lost 90,000,000 working days in 1927 because 
of illness, this new subject of hygienic clothes 
becomes very important. We lose 12 times 
more time by illness than we do by strikes. 
In 1927, we lost #5 times more time by 
illness than by strikes, as 1927 was a year of 
industrial peace. 
Any doctor who has used Ultra-Violet 
rays will agree that the wearing of Artificial 
Silk clothes must have an effect upon our 
national health, far beyond our power to
