On this aceount, it has a possibility to get its demand
abroad expanded year after year, keeping up the same
tendency in the future.
The major portion of Bean Oil now produced in Man-
churia is shipped Europe and America was to the total
amount of about 180,000 tons. Figuring the total ship-
ments of Beans in the same dircetions at about 6,500,000
“koku’’, which if totally employed as oil yielding material,
will give about 120,000 tons of oil, making the aggregate
consumption of Bean Oil in the West about 800.000 tons
