The Japanese Exchanges have been established by
Kwantung Government according to the regulations govern-
ing the Exchanges. To each of these Exchanges is attached
a Trust & Guaranty Co. as the medium guarantying the
actual delivery of the goods bargained for and also for
settling ihe accounts. At present, such Exchanges are
maintained at Dairen, Mukden, Kaiyuan, Ssupingkai,
Kungchuling, and Changchun. The articles dealt in on
these Exchanges vary more or less according to places, but
each is generally divided into the Produce and the Currency
Department. In the matter of Produce, the principal
articles are Beans, Bean Cake, Bown Oil, and kaoliang.
