according to size and age. Most of the animals slaughtered come from the
country districts of Central Bavaria.

being 100. The level of the price of meat is indicated by 113, of other food
by 106, and of coal by 103. The index number for rent and prices combined
is 96, as compared with 100 for Berlin.
